We're FARM Rio, a group of creatives from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, who believe in the existence of happiness. More than a brand, we've been creating enlightened cultural movements since 1997. We embody the liveliness of a nature-infused and culturally rich lifestyle, coloring the world one print at a time.

FARM Rio's story began 27 years ago with two friends and a dream. Kátia Barros and Marcelo Bastos started by sharing their creations at a small booth at an independent fashion market. Their passion forever changed the local scene and gradually touched all of Brasil. Today, our pieces are meaningful style statements shaped by cultural insights—a love letter to the carioca's sun-kissed casualness. You'll find them in over 100 stores across our country.

In 2019, our journey took us abroad, bringing the FARM Rio lifestyle to other iconic cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, and more.

Kátia is not only our creative director but also an ambassador of Brazilian culture. She is recognized as one of Latin America's 500 most influential people (Bloomberg's 2022 List). She believes in fashion to nurture a fairer world, promoting values like heritage celebration, social inclusion, and sustainability.

Her female leadership constantly reminds us to appreciate life's simple pleasures, from the refreshment of a swim in the ocean to the sun's warmth on our skin. She inspires us to infuse these sensations into everything we do, making 'dress in happiness' our number one goal.
